NO TV

Yesterday I decided was no tv day at our house. Andy and Kenzie didn't like this idea very much, but it didn't bother Evan and I at all. I liked the quiet. We listened to a lot of music on the iHome, and I got caught up on some of the things I needed to do. After dinner Evan and I let Lexi out. Evan always tries to get in the pool clothes on and all. So I stripped him down and let him jump in.

Andy doesn't like it when I let him swim naked because we have neighbors, but o well. See his little band aid? Poor baby had his 1 year check up the day before and he had to have 3 shots AND blood taken to check his lead levels (they came back fine).

Kenzie and Andy headed out behind us to kick the soccer ball around. Kenzie thinks it's fun to see how high they can kick it.

Then we heard the music of the ice cream truck. Or the "neighborhood pedafile music" as Andy calls it. Kenzie has never got ice cream from the ice cream truck before so I ran inside to get some money and we chased it down.

Trying to decide what to get!

At first she wanted the Chips Galore one that was $3.00! But she settled on the $1.00 cotton candy one.

All hot and sweaty. Hair a mess. Rosey cheeks. She played hard and deserved a nice cool treat. Even if her face was still dirty from the ice cream sandwich she had earlier. See, no tv days aren't so bad!
